CLEANOUT TOOLS FOR THE TIRE INDUSTRY

Although standard sizes of drill bits are shown in the chart below, various lengths of drill bits can be supplied.  Specify the flute and shank lengths as well as the diameter of the drill bit.

Cleanout drill bits have been specially designed to remove the residue and extruded compound from mold vents.  The flutes are an open design helping to remove the particles.  The drill bits can be made any size and length usually from the 55 level up through 80 drills and higher.

The vent drills are manufactured by Ohio Drill in Homeworth, Ohio.

Kay-Zee Inc. does not sell spring vents.  However Kay-Zee Inc. makes special tools  for spring vent installation and repair.
